THE BILL GATES AND TED TURNER REACH OUT TO AFRICA
10:15 am MT March 29, 2007

LOGAN, UTAH, March 29 – On March 21, 2007, Ted Turner, Bill and Melinda Gates were seen getting out of a private jet in a small city in Africa. They were later to have been seen meeting with a local government official. Being able to catch up with Bill, Ted and Malik Ok we were able to find out what their meeting had consisted of.

In speaking with Bill Gates we learned both Bill and Ted are planning to come together with the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and one of Ted’s foundations to help the people of Africa. Bill said, "This is an exciting time." They feel a great opportunity has presented itself in helping the many countries in Africa. The main focus is on education. For many people living within Africa, education is not an oppertunity to gain.

Malik Ok, mayor of the local community, said, "This is a privilege to have them offer such help to the people in the area." As there is a 5% growth in the economy this will help that growth become larger.

Ted Turner did not have much to comment on for things are just in the process of being discussed. They will be discussing the two foundations and how they can help each other to accomplish the goal they have set in their efforts to help Africa.
